Peterborough Course 7th - 9th April 2025

We are holding a three-day intensive speech therapy course in the historic cathedral city of Peterborough. This comprehensive course is designed to help adults who stammer learn how to talk in a calm and controlled manner, ultimately without fear.

How it works

• For those new to our costal breathing course, there is a £250 fee for our three-day course. 

• After attending your first course, there are no further charges: our fabulous ongoing and lifelong support, and returning to another course to “top up” your technique, are free of charge.

If you have already taken a course outside Empowering Voices that uses costal breathing, you may still be able to attend one of our courses for free. We will have a chat with everyone before coming on a course.

Venue, accommodation and transport

The course is at City College Peterborough. If you need accommodation, there is a Travelodge 50 metres away. We will have dinner every evening in one of the great restaurants in Cathedral Square, a 4-minute walk from your hotel and the college.

This central Peterborough course is the perfect location for transport connectivity: it has great rail links with a 10-minute walk to the venue and is easily accessible by road.​
